Cold Brew Two Ways – Grab It Ready or Brew It Yourself!
Summer’s knockin’ and we’re keepin’ things cool — real cool. If you're lookin’ for a smooth-sippin’, bold-flavored cold brew to power you through hot days, we’ve got two well tested options for ya:
1. Grab It Ready: Our Ranch Water Cold Brew Concentrate is already brewed and ready to pour. Just add water, milk and toss it over ice — whatever suits your fancy. It’s strong, smooth, and downright refreshing.
2. Brew It Yourself: Feelin’ a little more hands-on? We've got you covered there too. Pick up the Toddy Home Brew System and follow this trusty guide to make your own concentrate right at home.
Cold Brew Instructions:
1. Insert the plug into the outside bottom of the brew hopper
2. Place one filter (either the felt circular filter or the paper bag filter) into the inside bottom of the brew hopper
3. Dump one bag of Ranch Water Toddy into the brew hopper
4. “Low ‘n Slow” pour cold water over the grounds until all of the coffee grounds are wet and are 1-inch below the upper rim of the hopper
5. Allow the fresh coffee grounds to “bloom” for an hour
6. Insert a spoon straight down into the center to create a hole and dig out the grounds to the very bottom
7. Slowly top-off with cold water, pouring straight into the hole you created, grounds should begin rising as the water pushes them upward
8. Let sit at room temperature for 24 hours
9. Once the coffee is brewed, carefully hold the brew hopper directly above the decanter and remove the plug from the outside bottom of the brew hopper
10. Set the brew hopper onto the decanter and allow your coffee concentrate to fully drain
Store it in the fridge, and it'll stay fresh for up to 6 weeks. Use 2oz concentrate per 10oz of water/milk.
